Alan Manevitz, MD

 

Dr. Manevitz is recognized nationally for his clinical skills and excellence in helping patients who are not receiving full benefit of current treatments.

He is often consulted by colleagues for illnesses difficult to diagnose and new treatment approaches for treatment resistant disease. He and his colleague, James Halper M.D., are recognized by patients and colleagues as one of the most internationally experienced clinical providers of TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation).

Dr. Navya Singh-Neuropsychologist/Psychologist

 

Navya Singh, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York State, who currently works with patients for therapy and neuropsychological testing. She also holds an adjunct associate research scientist appointment at the Department of Psychiatry, Columbia University/NYSPI, where she is part of a lab that studies neurocognitive correlated of depression and suicidal ideation. She has previously worked with survivors of mass trauma from Rwanda. In addition to clinical work and research, she started wayForward, a behavioral health startup that built science based and data driven digital health products, serving large enterprises like health insurance companies, hospital systems and employers. This led it to a successful exit to a NASDAQ listed company. Post-acquisition, as Chief Behavioral Science Officer of that company, she brought her expertise to chronic disease management. In the past two years she has shifted her focus back to clinical work and research. With an approach to clinical care that is driven by empathy and compassion, Dr. Singh believes in healthcare parity and serves individuals from diverse backgrounds, always trying to meet them where they are in their lives.
